It’s been quite a while since we had any mega street bashes. But this is the time for the party and street animals to brace themselves. XFM will be holding its first ever street ‘harre’ tagged “XFM STREET BASH” on 20th October 2018. XFM has for long been known for giving us the funkiest and “today’s hit music” from all genres all day long. For a street bash from XFM, Y’all should expect one thing-party nonstop-kind of vibe.
“When we looked at our need to give our listeners a good party & all these warehouse concepts all exhausted, doing the XFM Street Bash right next to home became such an exciting opportunity for us!” ,” said Ghislain Masamba, the XFM Station Manager.
The XFM Street Bash will be hosted at 1st Street, Industrial Area, right next to the XFM offices. Tickets will go for a friendly UGX 10,000. Gates will be opened at midday (12:00 pm). People that love the party life will party with the biggest artists in the city, your favourite XFM and Urban TV presenters, DJs and many more.
The XFM street bash will be powered by a top vodka brand, Smirnoff.
“Smirnoff is a good brand with a product that relates directly with XFM’s average listener,” said Vision Group’s Marketing Manager in charge of Broadcast & Digital platforms, Kenneth Oduka. “Smirnoff Vodka, along with their Black & Red Ice are very popular with the youth & it made perfect sense for us to partner with them for this event.” He added.
