We love them, we cannot do without them, but their style preferences are often times cringe worthy. I’m talking about our parents. The people who always serve up to the embarrassing calibre when it comes to their fashion. However, we all know many trends from back in the day are returning in a major way. Take the “mom” jeans for example, a trend that blossomed in the 80’s and has managed to evolve generation after generation after we understood that denim never goes out of style.

I’m sure you have seen them around because they are back in a big way. Something that was typically associated with league games and family vacations is now a must-have accessory.
The “dad” hat is making a mark of its own meaning there are no more bad-hair days for ladies and no more provocative scorching sun rays touching your face. You probably own one of these from your tenth birthday but it’s now in a box branded “out-of-style” Get a board the cap train because if Kanye, Kendall and Khloe are giving it a go, then it’s definitely a go.
Caps are everywhere in Kampala from high end shops to downtown vendors, you can’t fail to get one. It’s a casual accessory so it’s ideally paired with jeans and sneakers. If you are rocking a dress and the “dad” cap, then you have to throw in the sneakers, don’t shine half way. It’s all or nothing.
