Fashion today is a great controversy especially among the youth. Whereas most people still look at it from the theoretical angle, I think there is more to fashion than what meets the eye.
What is fashion anyway? Simply a prevailing popular trend. All the way from what did you see at the shop yesterday, the who wore it better trend in schools, work places and social events all the way to red carpet retros.
Fashion is the art of originality . You do not have to look like your favourite celebrity to be heard, be noticed, be different and stand out in the crowd.
Here is the tiny little stone you rejected but could be your corner stone in the quest to make a fashion statement.
Rules are meant to be broken
I bet you’ve all heard of this phrase . Magazines , newspapers , tabloids and even your best friend are probably caught up in the what should be worn , where and how craze…Why don’t you kick things up a notch and surprise yourself with your own rules?? Simplify your style in line with personal goal and trust me, it always works.
Own your decisions
Yes that’s right, are you rocking a micro-mini skirt? Be comfortable on your own skin because a good look with no confidence is like a ship with no radar trust me… its bound to capsize.
Fashion is Fun
Fashion is about bringing out the fun and creative energy to you as a person and the world at large through your looks, your behavior and speech altogether… Yes I did say speech because who doesn’t know that modern short language or should I say slang is slowly by storm replacing formal English.
