Kampala International University (K.I.U) in conjunction with Uganda Youth Talent Promotions on Monday launched the 2014 edition of Miss Kampala International University.
This beauty contest will be held on August 22 and will see the overall winner from the three campuses (Kampala, Ishaka and Dar-es-salaam) walk away with a brand new Toyota Duet.
The last time this contest was held was in 2007. This year’s theme is “Beauty, Academics and Fashion” implying that the pageant will not only look at beauty, it will stretch out to academics and discipline.
Contestants are expected to pick registration forms at the varsities’ Department of Marketing which go for shs100, 000. The grand finale will be held at the main campus in Kampala come August.
