Timberland boots are back and better than before

The timberland craze has been around for quite a while now but their reinvention is what has got me and many others talking. The shoes were originally made to be long-lasting, strong boots for hard workers in New England. However fashion designers, moguls and models saw the boots in a different light and from that time on became one of the world’s most classic fashionable boots.

In Uganda, timberlands were a thing in the early twenties for the male socialites and musicians. They had their reign and abruptly lost their appeal among many but are now back and better than before. Before, these boots were just made for hardworking men but now they are a fashion line both for men and women. So just like many outfits women have stolen from men and made their own, the timberlands too have suffered the same fate.

Since they are out door shoes, they should be worn when moving out for maybe a safari or hyke; anything related to outdoor activity.  That way you look stylish as you look at the wildlife in Queen Elizabeth park or look stylish while climbing up a humongous hill or mountain. But really how many times can one hyke or visit a game park? And yet you want to show off your killa boots. So wearing them on a Saturday for a basketball game or just strolling down Kampala streets is okay. As long us the rest of your ensemble is casual because these shoes scream casual.

Sadly these shoes are quite pricey just like any unique, classic and stylish fashionable item. In Uganda you can find them at around 170000 in high end boutiques at Garden city or Kings gate mall, Kabalagala. The shoes are trendy, long lasting and hip, so they are worth the price. Plus, for once you can own a shoe Riri or Khloe Kardashian too owns.

With the reinvention of Timberlands to  suit women as well, they started coming out more feminine look to suit the female market. So ladies you don’t necessarily have to buy the classic yellow boot, you can get a pair thats more feminine. If you want to find a variety of different timberlands to pick from, I suggest you shop the shoes online because here in Uganda the yellow ones are the most common. They also timberlands in foam of heels and also timberlands for kids.
Shop your little hearts out with these boots and be the stylish one because not many people have caught on with the trend.
