Just as the new academic year, 2016/17 is soon commencing, the much desired, loved and memorable Mitchellex Bazaar is back in full swing to welcome and entertain the freshmen and women of the new Academic Year.
The much hyped and revered bazaar that’s to take place at Mitchell Hall of Residence in Makerere University is per say the best bazaar in Uganda’s university. Incorporated with a lot of university culture, great music, different exhibitions, nyama choma and booze, the bazaar has been labelled one of the best exhibition grounds in the land.
“Last year I was only a fresher and trust me, I never wanted to step at the bazaar grounds, but when I did, I regretted why I came late. It’s the most fun that I had all year, and I am not missing this coming bazaar for anything,” commented David a second year student of Electrical engineering at Makerere.
There are many reasons as to why no one shouldn’t miss the Mitchellex bazaar be it a fresher, a continuing student or an exhibitor. There’s much more to gain than lose and the only loss you might make is loss of weight because the music is irresistible.
The bazaar starts on Saturday 6th August when freshers report and ends on Saturday 20th August. Come have some fun or rather come and get some ready market for your goodies.
