Following the launch of the ‘Yoola Amajja’ promotion with Airtel Uganda, customers have increased their use of the service so as to earn a shot at the Money booth.
By making any transactions on the Airtel Money platform, subscribers get the chance to win up to UGX 2 million daily. To cap off the promotion, a grand draw will be held where an Airtel Money user will get the chance to collect up to UGX20 million.
Speaking recently during the official launch of the promotion, Mr. Paul Langlois, the Airtel Money Director said, “Over the next 90 days, Airtel Uganda is giving Airtel Money subscribers the best value back. Subscribers will be rewarded for every transaction made.”
The ‘Yoola Amajja’ promotion according to Mr. Langlois is an extension of the several successful promotions that Airtel Uganda has held in the recent past. These he said are aimed at rewarding their loyal Airtel subscribers.
Langlois also explained that the ongoing ‘Yoola Amajja’ promotion is countrywide and regional activations are to be held during the three months.
Tremendous efforts have been made to boost the functionality and efficiency of the Airtel Money platform. To foster financial inclusion, the platform now offers services such as; E-city payments, mobile banking, utility bill payments, school fees payments among others.
To participate in this promotion, Airtel Money subscribers should have;
- Transacted through a mobile banking transaction that is; sending money from one’s Airtel money account to their bank account.
- Topped up a minimum of 500 worth of airtime using Airtel money.
- Purchased a voice or data bundle using Airtel Money.
- Made a cash withdrawal from Airtel Money
- Sent Money using Airtel money
- Paid bills using Airtel Money
