The youth and all fun loving people are up for another night of awe-inspiring experiences. Think of it as bringing Hollywood to Uganda in an amazing and very unique encounter. Evoke Night is back with a film soundtrack edition labelled, “Lights, Camera, Evoke!”
Evoke Night, Uganda’s biggest youth driven event is in return with a thrilling edition scheduled for 31st May 2018 at The Square, Industrial area. Doors will open at 7 pm and tickets will go for only 20,000 Uganda shillings. To pay homage to the film industry, this edition dubbed, “Lights, Camera, Evoke!” will have phenomenal performances of the world’s biggest and most popular soundtracks from fan-favorite movies and series. These performances will be executed through Evoke’s entertainment avenues; Acapella, Dance, Live band, Spoken word and DJ sessions. In true recognition of the industry, there will be a screening of one of Uganda’s most riveting short films, ever.
Evoke is a lifestyle magazine experienced, not read. Evoke Night is thus a monthly event series of night entertainment where we fuse Rap, Acapella, Spoken Word, Fashion, Live band and dance. The event aims to inspire Uganda’s Urban and semi-urban youth to be productive towards the country’s political, economic and social aspects through its informative and engaging activities.
“Evoke Night grows with every edition, reaching a bigger youthful crowd and coming up with better ideas to keep this crowd entertained and informed. The film industry is undoubtedly one of, if not the biggest entertainment industry in the world, and it immensely impacts the livelihoods of the youth world over. So having an edition to recognize this industry is much deserved,” relayed Timothy Bukenya, Head Cheese, Evoke.
Last month, the “Tech Me Away” edition was an extravaganza filled with exhilarating performances, a posh cashless transaction experience and the coolest crowd. This edition was solely based on technology and so the revelers got more than they bargained for with silent disco, acapella, tech dance, spoken word and multiple other activities.
The event’s repute precedes itself so this coming edition in May shouldn’t be any different. Again, it’s Thursday 31st May 2018 at The Square, Industrial Area.
