Many relationships have been hit by the ‘bore’ syndrome, that point when you feel like you have done everything over and over again that it has even become a routine, it’s often at this point that many relationships dissolve. Who would want to be in a boring relationship anyway?
I personally believe that you shouldn’t let go of the relationship because everything is turning sour and boring… Here are some few hacks into rekindling that fire of fun and memory;
1. Get out Of that room
Many of you think that romance, memories and all that satisfies the heart and mind can only be achieved in a room. That room might me Facebook, snapchat, Instagram or your very own hostel room. Sex, sex, cuddling, it all gets boring but how you bring it back to life all depends on you.
Have you taken your girl to a park, have you walked down the cold dark street hand in hand? I bet not, you are too busy engrossed in between sheets doing what men have been doing since the start of time. Stop now, do something out of that room.
2. Play Games
Yes games, there are many games that can spark a fire in a boring relationship, some you know, some might be new… Cards, snakes, scrabble you name it all, but have you tried playing strip scrabble? I mean put some fun in a game, yours is a relationship not game center, get a game and put all the crazy and cozy into it, games come with that attachment and memories so fresh, memories that chocolate can’t bring.
3. Attend poetry Night
Today, there are many poetry nights, some very real that it goes as far as having poetry beside a fire. Take for poetry, hold her around the waist as the breeze of sweet words passes you by, look her in the eyes when it gets intense and spell the word “I Love You” tease her like Shakespeare would, don’t be too formal, get out of your way to bring new in… You need it.
4. Go for vacation
Nature has a way it deals with love and beauty and things that rotate around awesome… Take vacation, leave the hustle and bustle of town and go into the presence of nature. Take a forest walk or a stroll along the beach or the river. Watch the sunset and the stars form. Ours is a beautiful country, with many get away spots, distant islands and beaches, game parks you name it, use all of it to your advantage, make love a reality.
5. Do it different
The way Jacob loved Sandra is the same way he love Leilah, don’t be Jacob be different do it different every single time, the heck make it more fun every single passing day. Overlook the cliches, try new things, new foods, new restaurants, new sunset spots. Do it different, love her different, because Jude loved her the same way that Daudi loved her, do it different, be the spark that makes her glow.
In each relationship, one must lay principles on how to love. I have seen 4 year relationships burst all in the name of boredom, since when did boredom become a thing. With the above ideas, maybe you could call your girlfriend tonight and try not to be boring….
