The only meeting left for Ssubi is with President Museveni so that he completes his final lap of this dream come true.
Makerere “Metallic Suitcase” Fresher Henry Ssubi Kiyimba has seen his life turn around in a space of weeks after his picture while reporting to University Hall famously or rather infamously made it online.
From wardrobe makeovers to a change of courses and scholarship on the same, the student has met so many well wishers with each of them having an impact on his life.
The latest is his meeting with the French Ambassador to Uganda H.E Jules-Armand Aniambossou who offered him a scholarship to learn French at French School, Alliance Française de Kampala.
“It was my pleasure to meet Henry Ssubi from Makerere University. A brilliant student with a promising future. I hope the scholarship to learn French with Alliance Française de Kampala will contribute to his success story.” Ambassador Aniambossou tweeted.

Ssubi told the Ambassador that he dream of visiting France and that he would love to see the Eiffel Tower.
Alliance Française de Kampala is a non-profit Ugandan association and a cultural center dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture. It is located on plot 52, Bukoto street in Kamwokya.
