As only two days remain to the Makerere University graduation ceremony, some students that have nothing against the Janworry stress, have for probably the first time arranged “graduation showers” ahead of their d-days.
One of the graduands said that as the new decade emerges, new ideas and strategies have to be created in order to spice things up. This idea was first seen earlier with Ugandan musician, Rema who organised the first ever “Introduction Shower” and took majority Ugandans by storm.
The parties will be held in different recreation centers around the city and many of these graduands have big budgets for these graduation showers. The graduands are expected to go on to organise proper graduation parties after being conferred upon, their degrees.
One of the invitations we landed on had a graduand that has organised a Grad Shower at the posh Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.
