Former Makerere University researcher and now Kampala Woman MP aspirant Dr Stella Nyanzi has revealed that she used to plait fellow students’ hair and bake cakes at Makerere University when she was still student, to make extra income.
The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) strong woman, interacted with reporters from Campus Bee, in an exclusive interview conducted yesterday. In the new Campus Bee segment dubbed Campus Memories that runs on our You Tube, she recalled her time at the university, where she studied Journalism and Communication for her undergraduate level and resided in Complex Hall (CCE).
She also recalled memories of her first campus crash and the first guy she kissed at campus. The MP aspirant, if successful will be representing among other institutions in Kampala, her alma mata – Makerere University. She has promised to study issues affecting students in universities around Kampala so that she can easily fit them in her manifesto.
