As the date to the much anticipated Bell Pop’n Jam concert with Ne-Yo draws closer, Bell Lager has started issuing tickets to winners of the promotion.
The redemption of the tickets that commenced on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at the Game Lugogo Parking lot saw over 4,000 tickets given out on the first day. An average of 200 tickets are redeemed every hour.
At the redemption center, several consumers could be seen jubilating as they held their tickets. Some consumers won as many as 20 tickets. As usual, there were selfies that were taken at venue, with tickets clearly displayed.
Martin Kasakwa, a consumer who redeemed five tickets could not hide his excitement on receiving them.
“Finally I can confirm that I will be watching Ne-Yo live in Kampala. I am so excited because I will be going to the concert with my entire family,” he said.
Redemption of the tickets to the Ne-Yo concert will go on at the same venue till the day of the concert (October 30, 2015) with the redemption exercise running from 9am to 6pm.
Robert Nsibirwa, the Bell Lager Brand Manager advises consumers who won during the promotion to pick their tickets early so as to avoid last minute dashes and congestion.
All a consumer needs to collect their ticket to the Ne-Yo concert is their phone number as well as their redemption code.
In a related development, ordinary and VIP tickets to the concert have also gone on sale and can be purchased from Nakumatt Oasis, Capital Shoppers Nakawa, Oryx Fuel Station Lugogo, and House of Walker at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel and on the tikiti app.
According to organizers of the Bell Pop’n Jam concert with Ne-Yo, the artiste will be flying into the country with a team of 30. These include the backup singers, dancers, sound engineers and security detail.
The concert has already been billed the concert of the year as a result of the preparations that have been gone into it.
