“Court has dismissed the Case against @kyambogou. This means the 9,536 students who have fulfilled the requirements are set to graduate on September 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 2021,” the University social media stated.
The students accuse the University for omitting them from the graduation list and yet they have all the requirements needed.
Over 200 Kyambogo University Students whose names were missing on the forthcoming graduation list had petitioned the High Court seeking an injunction against the scheduled 17th Graduation Ceremony slated for the 21st of this month.
Through their lawyer Bwiire Ronald, the students faulted the university for omitting their names from the published graduation booklet despite having done all their exams and passed and their names pinned on the University notice board.
