The makers of the popular gateway app, Kwisky have this afternoon generously contributed to the #TulumbeGabon a campaign started by Ecobank to assist in the collection of funds for the national side.
EcoBank for a few months now has been pushing a campaign dubbed #TulumbeGabon is a bid to collect up to 6billion to help facilitate to the Uganda Cranes as they go for their tournament.
Speaking to the press earlier on today at the Ecobank head office on parliament avenue, Sandra Kibirige the Kwisky Marketing manager thanked Ecobank for their efforts to make the tournament a smooth one for the cranes.
“I’d like thank Ecobank for coming up with this promotion to help the Uganda Cranes make it while in Gabon. We from Kwisky are also making our contribution to the this noble cause”, Sandra noted.
Kwiksy is a “Digital Mall” for On-Demand Services built on a Messaging Platforms and offers a platform that seamlessly integrates a variety of services like payment of bills, money transfer to mention but a few.
The team from Kwisky handed over a dummy cheque worth 2.5million to Ecobank ahead towards the #TulumbeGabon campaign. Receiving the cheque on behalf of Eco-bank was Head of Marketing and Communications at Ecobank Mrs Primrose Kobusingye who was excited for the contribution from Kwisky.
“This is a very great contribution and i thank Kwisky for their noble gesture of contributing to this initiative we started a few months ago. We are still welcoming all contributions for this campaign and call upon all Ugandans to take part to make our nation great.” noted Primrose at the press conference.
The cranes will later on today face the Black Stars of Ghana in their first tie of the African Cup of Nations.
