The Academic Registrar’s departments of Kyambogo and Lira Universities have released the official list for government sponsored students. Kyambogo university has taken the biggest share of students admitted under government scholarship with over 300 successful students.
With good performance showcased in 2020 UACE examinations, the last person to be admitted on government sponsorship had a minimum weight-qualification of 30.1 points under Bachelor of science technology chemistry.
On the other hand, Lira University admitted fewer students with about 100 successful students.
