News coming in from Kyambogo University indicates that several unvaccinated students have been barred from entering into the University premises.
Students who though that it will be the normal business of just entering the university and go straight to their lecture rooms were denied access into the university if they were not possessing COVID-19 vaccination cards.
According to sources at Kyambogo University, it’s said that students had come for lectures as they prepare for their pending end of semester one examinations
Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Education and sports set Today 1st November 2021 as the official date for reopening of institutions of learning universities inclusive. Since then, the government had been encouraging students to get vaccinated to ensure safe reopening of schools.
