The long wait is over. The Kyambogo University Vice Chancellor has finally revealed the programme for reopening of the second biggest public university in Uganda.
In his letter to all staff and students authored today 9th February 2021, that Campus Bee has seen, Prof Katunguka revealed that continuing students will be given priority to report first.
“This is to inform you that the university will open to continuing students on 1st March 2021,” the letter confirms.
According to Kyu’s Vice Chancellor, there will be three weeks of face-to-face lectures (1st-21st March) followed by examinations for three weeks (22nd March to 11th April).
The semester, for the academic year 2019/2020 will end on 11th April 2021.
Freshers
According to Prof Katunguka, first year students will self-enroll (register) ONLINE between Monday 22nd March 2021 and 11th April 2021. They then will officially report to campus for face-to-face lectures on Saturday 10th April.
“The detailed programme for semester 1 and 2 of the Academic year 2020/2021 and proposals for graduation, will be communicated in the subsequent circulars,” the letter reveals as seen below;
