The Office of the Academic Registrar at Kyambogo University has officially opened applications for the 2025/2026 academic year under the Direct Entry Scheme.
Dr. Annie Begumisisa, the Academic Registrar, announced that the university is now accepting online applications from prospective students seeking private admission through either O’ level or A’ level qualifications.
Interested applicants can access the application forms through the university’s dedicated portal at https://apply.kyu.ac.ug.
The application process requires a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000 for Ugandans and East African nationals, while international applicants will pay UGX 110,000, plus any applicable bank charges.
Applicants have been informed that the deadline for submission is Sunday, 25th May, 2025.
For bachelor’s degree programs, eligible candidates must possess Uganda Certificate of Education with a minimum of 5 passes obtained in a single sitting and at least 2 principal passes in approved subjects at A’ level.
Diploma programs require O’ level certification with 5 passes plus at least 1 principal pass and 2 subsidiary passes at A’ level.
