The Miss Uganda Foundation, Kezzi Entertainment and partners last night at the Kampala Serena hotel unveiled the finalists of Miss Uganda 2016 under the theme: Beauty With a Purpose; Promoting A beautiful Uganda through innovativeness.
The 22 contestants aged between 18 and 23 years that were preselected on 13th September at Club Guvnor were last night unveiled and these are the representatives from the 4 regions in Uganda. It;s from these beauties that the regional queens will be crowned and ultimately the Miss Uganda.
Campus Bee identified a number of fine ladies that are still at University but believe to have what it takes to be Miss Uganda and made it among the 21 finalists. Makerere University and MUBS outdid themselves as they topped the lists of Finalists of the Miss Uganda.
Bridgette Nalwoga

The 19-year-old fresher is currently pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceuticals at Makerere University. Her role model is Tyra Banks because of her excellence in the modeling industry. She’s contestant number 3.
Irene Kirabo Nakitende

Irene is a second year Makerere University student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication and hails from Wakiso. Her role Model is Hon. Rebecca Kadaga because she is very principled. She’s contestant number 6.
Catherine Kyomukama

Currently awaiting graduation next year, Catherine is a finalist at MUBS pursuing a Bachelor’s degree of science in accounting. She loves Michelle Obama for a role model because of her elegance and intelligence. She’s contestant number 8.
Shibella Winfred Bakamaze

The 21-year-old Shibella is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree of science in accounting at MUBS. Her role model is her mother because of her ambitious, independent, strong and hard working character. She’s contestant number 9.
Katusiime Flavia

Flavia, 22 is a second year student pursuing a diploma in records and archive management at Makerere University. Seasoned media personality and MC Flavia Tumusiime is her role model because of her resilience in the media fraternity. She’s contestant number 10.
Lydia Kayesu

Lydia, 20 is a student at Makerere University currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in community development and social justice. Her role model is KCCA boss Jennifer Musisi because of her fine representation of strong women. She’s contestant number 11.
Leah Kagasa
The 21-year-old Leah is currently in her third year reign at MUBS pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Hailing from Kabarole, the ebony slender beau looks up to her mother because she has worked her way from poverty to the middle class. She’s contestant number 20.
Evelyn Namatovu Kironde

Evelyn is a second year Makerere University student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree administration in entrepreneurship. The 20 year old looks up to her mother because she’s hard working, persistent and has a kind heart. She’s contestant number 20.
Teddy Mukunzi

The light skinned diva is a student of Makerere University pursuing a bachelor’s degree of commerce. She too looks up to her mum for her patience and strength. She’s contestant number 21.
The other contestants in the Miss Uganda race are done with campus and are working on various projects while some are pursuing short courses at respective institutes.

The Finalists will have a multi location boot camp spanning 3 weeks – on a farm (National Crops Resources Institute NaCRRI at Namulonge), at a prestigious resort _ Brovad Sands Lodge – Ssese Islands and Final Location is a surprise location in Kampala.
