Makerere University, through the office of the Academic Registrar, has flagged off the distribution of academic transcripts for the 74th convocation.
This was in fulfillment of the Academic Registrar’s pledge to issue out the documents prior the long awaited ceremony.
Some graduands were visibly seen all over campus jubilating the development and by press time, Senate building was already gathering numbers as others anxiously lined up to have a look.
A number of Makerere alumni will find this quite fascinating given the previous trends where graduates would wait for years to have their transcripts.
It is only in the recent past where the Vice Chancellor Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe has called for promptness in the procedures such as issuing out transcripts on time.
Makerere University 74th graduation ceremony is slated to take place between Monday 29th January 2024 and 2nd February 2024 at the Freedom Square.
Preparations are already in high gear with distribution of gowns nearing completion.
Over 12000 are expected to graduate with degrees, masters and doctorates in various disciplines.
