The just concluded 71st Makerere University Graduation has dominated the airwaves to date with unavoidable highlights. The epitome of intellectual greatness in the land had over 12,000 graduands concluded last week, each graduand with a fairly tale.
The latest tale making rounds on social media is a sentimental move by a Makerere graduate (in his gown) paying a courtesy visit to his mother at her market workplace. The graduate knelt before his mother in the market to thank her for selflessly taking care of him and paying his tuition
The gesture caught Makerere University Vice Chancellor’s eye and relentlessly tweeted;
“I salute this @Makerere graduate for showing humility and love for his mother. He went to thank her at her work place in the market.”
