The Acting Principal of Makerere University School of Law Prof Christopher Mbazira has extended aid to former graduates from the prestigious school with a simplified mode to join the Law Development Center (LDC) for a bar course.
“This note is addressed to LLB Alumni who graduated in 2020 and 2021 and are not at the Law Development Centre but would like to apply to join the Centre. The Principal’s Office invites alumni in this category to forward their names to the Principal’s Office for processing. Emails should be sent to principales.ac.ug and should include the student’s Name, Registration No. &Year of Graduation,” the Principal noted.
We are reliably informed that the above required information should reach the Principal’s office not later than 12 August 2021. The classy act is aimed at bridging gaps between the graduates and LDC that have been apparently widened by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Prof Mbazira further disclosed that reesults of students who wrote retakes this year as part of LLB IV Examinations are being processed to enable those that have passed join LDC as soon as possible.
