The instatement of nationwide lockdowns to curb the spread of Covid-19 infections has made it next to impossible for students to attend schools physically. This arrangement has limited several students especially Makerere University’s who can not access library resources yet heavy functional fees are paid for the services.
The Guild Academics Affairs Ministry thus found it unavoidable to provide access to library resources electronically and as well continuously sensitize the students about the effective use of the e-library; accessible online through the MYLOFT APP.

Most students are stuck at home with incomplete research while others preparing for their final exams. It is against this very background that sessions are held to enable students learn how to access and use the e-library platform.
