The 84th Guild President of Makerere University Papa Were Salim yesterday visited the home of his girlfriend Katushabe Hope in Kyankwanzi in order to perform the traditional Kukyala Ceremony.
Hope is a student at Makerere University awaiting graduation on 14th January. According to reliable sources, the two have been dating since 2016.

Notable student leaders at the function included Nankya Esther the former Deputy Speaker of Makerere University Guild and Jothan Yamureebire Burubuto a two time Speaker of Makerere University Guild and immediate former Uganda Natonal Students’ Association (UNSA) President. Yamureebire was also the best man of Papa Were.
