Renown Campus Remnant and former Makerere University Guild aspirant Simon Ssenyonga is a man of never ending wonders. The city lawyer and self professed son of the Prophet (Elvis Mbonye) surprised many on Wednesday when he rented out the cinema section of Acacia Mall to propose marriage to his girlfriend.
Sharon Kyomugisha, a news anchor at UBC was the lucky girl. The whole set up had been a surprise to her and we’re told she had thought it was a normal movie date with her boyfriend only to be shocked by the level of romance it came with. Folks estimate that over 30M was spent in the setup and arrangement.
The proposal was exclusive to only a few friends of the couple who later made off to a dinner in a convoy of Range Rovers. Men are really getting creative with proposals and by the time we get to propose, such romantic ideas may have all been used already. Take a look.
