Prunes Express restaurant has opened up a new branch at Shell Bugolobi, to offer convenience to customers who fuel and service their vehicles at Shell service stations and who are looking for quick meals and coffee on the go.
Prunes Restaurant opened in Uganda in 2012 at Wampewo Avenue and it is now spreading its wings through a partnership with Vivo Energy.
By partnering with professionals who share in its ambition to invest and grow to provide better services to customers Vivo Energy Uganda has invested in a programme to upgrade its Shell service stations to offer a wider range of services to both shoppers and motorists.
Speaking at a media breakfast to officially open Prunes Express at Shell Bugolobi, the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Uganda, Hans Paulsen, said that the company understands that customers, given their hectic schedules, are now looking for more than just a tank fill-up when they drive into Shell forecourts.
“It’s not just about our quality Shell Fuels and Lubricants anymore, but rather the delivery of a complete service station experience which includes quick meals on the go.In line with Vivo Energy’s commitment to satisfying motorist and shopper needs, the company has found reputable restaurants who will offer our customers a new Quick Service Restaurant proposition. That’s why this partnership with Prunes Express is so important to us,” said Paulsen.
“This partnership will benefit customers, giving them more convenience, quality and choice. We have a great relationship with Prunes and all our partners and are looking forward to having more of these kind of restaurants at our Shell service stations in the future”, he added.
The opening of Prunes Express at Shell Bugolobi comes with a promotion this week where customers who spend 100,000 shillings on fuel at Shell Bugolobi, from Monday 1st Feb to Friday 5th Feb between 7am to 9am, will receive a free Prunes Express breakfast. Those who service their vehicles on Saturday 6thFebruary will receive lunch vouchers.
