Youthful reporter and investigative journalist, Raymond Mujuni, is a very bitter man. Our snoops have learned that the vibrant reporter left Kamwokya based NBS last month and is reportedly begging his former employers at NTV to take him back.
Mujuni was recruited by Kin Karisa’s team in September 2017 on promises of making his investigative journalism career the best Uganda will ever see. Aged just 23 then, the Makerere Law School drop out quickly jumped at that proposal and ditched his job at NTV.
“Pleased to announce that I’m joining the NBS investigations desk. Glad to be part of the amazing team here.” An excited Mujuni took to his twitter to announce his than switch that saw many more of his former colleagues joining him at NBS. The latest has been their sweet news anchor, Sheila Nduhukire.
“Yes it is true. Raymond Mujuni left NBS TV and he is a very frustrated man. Kin (Karisa) promised him support for his investigative journalism and sadly, nothing has come to realization. He left a very unhappy man.” A source within NBS TV told Campus Bee.
Exclusive information we have received now reveals that Mujuni is considering a comeback at his former station NTV where he believes his investigative journalism career will be revived and why not? We are told that at first, NTV declined to take him back but on second thought, management is now considering getting him a spot on the investigations desk but with meagre pay.
We shall keep you posted.
