The activities to be done include; poetry, contemporary dance, live painting, video screening, beat boxing among others. It will be curated by Kei Hashimoto a curator at the Underground Contemporary Art Space.
Streetlights Uganda is a registered local non-profit organization that was formed in 2014 by four former art students at Makerere University with a vision “To see a world free of street children as well as bridging the unemployment gap.”
We believe art is a great tool for social change which offers a platform for these vulnerable groups to express themselves and in turn empower others to become change agents
