Kyambogo University Vice Chancellor Prof Eli Katunguka Rwakishaya has today morning, among other issues, cleared the air regarding online examinations at the public university in a presser with journalists.
In recent days, rumors were circulating alleging the soon to be commenced online exams to be done by Kyambogo students from wherever they are due to the closure of all learning institutions in the country. Another issue that needed clarity was graduation. Both issues headlined the VC’s press address.
“The Vice Chancellor, @EliKatunguka addressing the media on the status of the university. There are no online Exams going on. In case of any arrangement, the university will communicate Graduation is from September 21st to 23rd,” the institution tweeted.
Our columnist understands that Kyambogo University has been struggling with much administrative woes as well as misinformation that have all bred to an endless series of unaddressed grievances.
The turmoil has been fueled by the continued closure of a large faction of the Education sector, leaving the University helplessly drowned in unreliability that the in-charge came out to address.
