Now making a year in existence, Throw it Back (TiB) brings you yet another season of its exciting sports events. Season 3 is set to be different as it diverges a bit from the facade of the previous two but not so much as to digress from the norm of charity, which is the mandate of TiB.
This time, TiB will be bringing a rugby sevens tournament on the 16th of December 2016 at the Legends Rugby Grounds starting 10am till dusk, at a fee of Shs 10,000.
Ten teams are set to showcase bone-crushing hits, sky scrapping tackles, ankle twisting side steps and jaw dropping tries, in a battle to win Shs1,000,000. All this is aimed at improving the welfare of the infants at Nsambya Babies’ Home.
It is gratifying to know that TiB has so far achieved all that it has set out to accomplish, first by hosting a basketball tournament at the Kampala Parents’ School sports complex for the children of Nsambya Babies’ Home, secondly, by organizing a yet more exciting basketball tournament at the Prestigious Lugogo Arena for baby Ava and bow they bring us a more engaging sport aimed at putting smiles on children faces.
