On 14th September, 2016, Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) rewarded customers with prizes like motor bikes, flat screen TVs, airtime and so much more. Wandera Gerism, Nansubuga Sophie and Okoboi Patrick were some of the lucky winners in the ongoing 3 billion shilling Tubbaale promotion that was launched on 26th July.
Wandera Gerism, a new flat screen TV owner said he was very happy to be one of the winners. “When I heard about Tubbaale, I took a chance and decided to participate. Today, I am a proud TV owner. I encourage people out there to participate and win, there’s still lots more to win.” A visibly excited Wandera said.
On the other hand, Nansubuga Sophie was equally ecstatic when the Customer Marketing Manager-Bell Lager, Brian Seruyiggo handed over her flat screen TV. She said that she could not believe her luck. “I drunk Guinness and sent the code to 6050 and won. I beg UBL to give us more time because we want to win more.” Nansubuga narrated.
Okoboi Patrick said that he did not believe in promotions but this certainly changed his mindset.
“I got to know about the promotion from my friends who kept winning airtime so my aim was to get airtime as well because that is something simple but I instead won a flat screen TV. I am very happy.” A thrilled Okoboi relayed at Lambertini – UMA Show grounds Lugogo.
The Tubbaale promotion is running for two months featuring three of UBL’s renowned beer brands; Bell Lager, Tusker Malt Lager and Guinness.
Brian Seruyiggo explained that as the promotion is coming to an end, they encourage people to continue to participate and win as there are still lots more goodies to be won.
To participate in the promotion, buy any of the featuring beers. Check under the beer crown/bottle top (chokolo) for a code, SMS the code to 6050 and stand a chance to win.
“However, while we encourage you to participate in the promotion, we urge you to drink responsibly, we have also called on participating outlets not to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18,” Brian concluded.
