Kenneth Agaba, a Uganda Christian University(UCU) Student is trying to make the world a better place by helping the students stuck in hostel in this lockdown. He is pursuing a bachelors degree in law and is in his second year.
His main source of income is through his motorcycle riding which he started doing in his senior five. This was a way to raise funds for him when he realized his father couldn’t cover all his school needs.
He has since then taken it so seriously and raised more money which he was willing to use to help others. His main theme is “A candle loses nothing by lighting another”. He therefore took it upon himself to provide 300 packets of spaghetti and 50kgs of posho to the students.
However, he says this isn’t enough for all the students so he calls upon other students who are able to contribute to the cause to do so through their class representatives and always remember alittle contribution goes a long way.
One of the values he has learnt in his university life is to be a brothers or sister’s keeper. He bases on this to help those in need and urges everyone to do the same. He hopes to raise more in order to help others.
