Times are changing and trust me it’s interesting. Vodafone on Friday last week launched a new service dubbed ‘4G Hour’ for residents of Seeta and Mukono and our comrades at Uganda Christian University (UCU) currently in the May semester must be already benefiting from this offer.
Forget about the happy hour you either find at Casablanca Mukono, or Hive bar. The Vodafone happy hour is to enable students and other residents in the areas of Mukono and Seeta to stay connected to their families, friends, lovers over the internet for one hour…I mean if you are a UCU student and a fanatic of Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or music streaming, whatever it is, this is one hour of ‘freemium’ internet!
Following Vodafone’s recent 4G expansion to Mukono, it’s safe to say that the Students of UCU might register the best semester ever. Students will enjoy 4G internet at different intervals of the day. The offer will be running for one month…how cool can that get huh?
Below are the times, days and dates that you will enjoy this 4G high speed data service from Vodafone limited to residents of Mukono and Seeta, UCU students in particular;
- Between 7pm and 8pm every Friday – free data starting Friday 16th June 2017 to 14th July
- Between 7am and 8am every Monday – free data starting Friday 16th June 2017 to 14th July
- Between 9am and 10am every Sunday – free data starting Friday 16th 2017 to 9th July
