So the dreaded day did eventually come to pass too!!! Phewxx…. I was
literally going insane…. The so much fuss about it puzzled me and
stil continues to do so even now… I mean, its not like the past
years had 14th february scrapped off the calendar… So honestly, WHY
THE BIG DEAL this time round???
For one, being a Christian I occassionally tune in to power fm but
gosh.. the last week was torture!!!! So these fellaz decided to be
sengas of sorts and had this sex talk all week long…. hmmmm…. Am
stil speechless on what to say even.
Like any music lover, I did happen to listen to the XR on a daily
basis but for some reason, her “ninja highness” cynthia kept ranting
on and on about how she had no valentine…. Well, how many people
don’t have AIDS but stil celebrate AIDS day??????
Then these numerous adverts of shows that were scheduled for this
day…. They are endless… but guess the most common was venom
presents MACKA DIAMOND… hehe… While we had her, S.A flew in
Kendrick Lamar about Valentine time…so, compare and contrast!!!!
#LIFE!!!
To add to all the torture, this gigantic grey bearded lecturer decides
to give us a ‘lecture’ on how to dress, what to do and where to spend
the day… ANd in my head am like, ‘ How is Software Application
related to valentines day’?????
Then the day comes and this friend of mine is drowning in a pool of
her own tears because her man has not made a single plan for the
day!!! Apparently, his too busy… Clearly, your the side chic
sweety… The main chic is somewhere being pampered… Just ask Hellen
Lukoma… She knows what I mean.. ps,congz H.L!!!!
Then that very night, the whole of kla streets painted red and
black… lovers all over… all night spots packed to the rafters!
Just adding to my nightmare furthermore….
Glad its finally in the past… Now the main chic knows her place and
so does the side chic….. The poor fool is now broke… And the rich
one is some millions less rich!!!! And am stil me cause I treated it
like any other Friday!!! :-p
