In a video circulating like wildfire on social media, a Makerere University graduate is given arousing welcome by his village mates, probably one that the area Member of Parliament will look at with envy.

This occurred in the village of Nyarusizi in Kisoro District. The celebrations in the video seem to suggest that this young man had done something that his people only heard on their radio cassettes.

The young man was given a tunnel of honour with a red cloth laid on the ground to create that perfect red carpet moment that Rema probably gave to Dr. Ssebunya. With women clad in the trademark bitenges, constant words of praise were showered unto the fresh graduate.

Christian hymns were joyously sung to thank the Almighty for giving this village such an extraordinary feat. These celebrations from ones homeland double as blessings as well. The sky is just the springboard for this enterprising young man. All the best brother.
