“What’s COVID?” – Young People Circulate Video Having Enjoyments in the Bar

Campus Bee snoops have landed on a video allegedly recorded in Mbarara where young people recorded themselves in a bar with multitudes of people having fun and enjoyments as if there is no coronavirus in the country.

The visibly drunk and excited young Ugandans assert that the video was shot on July 25th, 2020.

“What’s COVID? What’s Corona? We don’t know COVID. Today is 25th of July, 2020 and we are normal. What’s COVID?” They asked.

We have not yet established clearly where the video was recorded and who recorded it but wherever it is, government guidelines are being flauted with unprecedented impunity.

Bars, schools and churches remain closed in Uganda as part of the government’s effort to mitigate the risk of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
