Kabale University has officially released its highly anticipated Government Sponsorship Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Office of the Academic Registrar made the announcement this week, confirming successful placements across a diverse range of academic programs including Medicine, Engineering, Education, and Agriculture, among others.
“The selected students demonstrated exceptional academic performance in their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education examinations,” said a university spokesperson
Government sponsorship is highly competitive in Uganda’s education system, covering tuition fees for the entire duration of the program and providing a significant financial relief for beneficiaries and their families.
The admission list includes students from various regions of Uganda who will now have the opportunity to pursue their academic and career aspirations at one of the country’s growing public universities.
The university has advised all admitted students to check the official list and follow the registration guidelines provided.
New students are expected to report to campus for orientation in August 2025, with classes scheduled to begin shortly thereafter.
For students who may not have secured government sponsorship, the university will be releasing information about private admission opportunities in the coming weeks.
