Last Saturday was the day freshers had been waiting for, the time they all wanted to get off curfew had finally arrived and they came guns blazin’… with suitcases and mattresses that is.
Many of them were seen struggling with their luggage as they moved to reach their final destination, with some students paying others to help them carry their staff to the university halls.
The freshers reported back to campus after the non teaching staff came to an arrangement giving President Museveni 3 months to gather their salary and come to an understanding on how they will pay them.
One could think these freshers carried their whole wardrobe because some were seen with more than two suitcases and the famous Nigerian bags that usually carries grab and sometimes shoes.
As excited as they are to be away from the grasps of their parents, Freshers should report knowing that course works and tests will be in plenty and their will be limited time to relax.
