Busitema University marked its 15th Graduation Ceremony today with a remarkable display of academic excellence.
The event, which celebrated approximately 1,500 graduating students across various academic programs including Engineering, Agriculture, Health Sciences, and Education.
The ceremony highlighted the university’s growth with approximately 45% female and 55% male graduates.
Uganda’s Vice President, H.E. Jessica Alupo was the chief guest.
In a powerful demonstration of the university’s dedication to sustainable development, Vice President Alupo planted a tree at the Convocation Square of Excellence as part of the Greater Greening Project.
Chancellor Vinad Nantulya presided over the event held at the main campus, introducing an innovative approach to academic documentation.
Graduates received their certificates and transcripts on the same day, a student-friendly initiative that eliminates traditional waiting periods.
