The Law Development Center (LDC) has announced that it will be holding its 52nd graduation ceremony on December 19th, 2024 at the Kampala campus.
According to the announcement from the Office of the Academic Registrar, diploma graduands in the Post Graduate Bar Course, Diploma in Law (Day, Evening and Weekend), and Diploma in Human Rights Course will be required to attend the ceremony and wear black gowns.
Each graduand will be required to pay a graduation fee of Shs 400,000, which covers the academic certificate and transcript.
Graduands will also be instructed to collect invitation cards for two guests from the Kampala campus.
The announcement noted that the list of graduands per course can be accessed on the LDC noticeboards and students’ official emails.
Notably, the graduation ceremony will be held solely at the Kampala campus, unlike previous years when separate ceremonies were held at the different LDC campuses across the country.
The reason for this change was not explained in the announcement.
Nonetheless, congratulations to all prospective graduands.
