Amidst his busy schedule as a Member of Parliament and leader of the opposition in the Ugandan Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi has added another feather to his cap as he graduates from the Law Development Center’s (LDC) Kampala campus.
The ceremony marks the institution’s 51st convocation, across the three caampuses, with Mbarara campus graduating last week and Lira’s to come forth on April 26, 2024.
Ssenyonyi, a renowned journalist turned politician, currently represents the Nakawa West constituency in Kampala and is a prominent figure within the National Unity Platform (NUP), Uganda’s strongest opposition party.
Despite his demanding responsibilities in Parliament, Ssenyonyi pursued his legal studies at LDC’s Kampala campus, demonstrating his unwavering determination to further his education and expand his knowledge in the field of law.
Ssenyonyi’s graduation from LDC not only reflects his personal achievements but also serves as an inspiration to aspiring young leaders across the country.
