You know him as Quex, the “Kachumbali” hit maker and the lyrical doctor, the one whose song has been captivating you and triggering you to shake that waist and put your arms up in the air every time you heard it play.
Apparently, Kampala International University ( KIU ) has been training a medical doctor in Quex who graduated on 11th June in the university’s 25th graduation ceremony.
This now makes Quex one of the most educated artistes in Uganda. We’ve always had Dr. Jose Chameleon as the doctor of music.
Imagine how it might feel having Dr. Quex both in the hospital (or operation room) and on stage giving you the vibe that heals your soul.
It’s quite inspirational given the fact that there have always been rumors about most musicians in Uganda having a little bit of education.
He is now a role model to young talented people still trying to make it in school. He more like seems to communicate to everybody that you can both do well at school and at music and shine like the stars of the night.
It’s not everyone that goes to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery that graduates, knowing the complexities of the course.
Congratulations Quex!
On 11th June 2022, KIU held it’s 25th graduation ceremony with 2394 graduands from both the main campus and Western campus.
