Kyambogo Graduation: Key Statistics and Guidelines for this Year’s Ceremony

Kyambogo University will hold its 19th graduation ceremony this week between 6th – 8th December, 2023.

Students from different faculties will graduate as follows;

According to preliminary sources, the event is expected to be graced by the presence of the head of state H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the chief guest.

In the build up to the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor Prof Eli Katunguka, through a press conference enlightened the general public about the key statistics and guidelines.

A total of 10926 graduands will be conferred on degrees at the 19th Graduation Ceremony. Of these, 6118 are males and 4808 are females.

The VC also noted that 483 graduands have attained 1st class degrees. Also, eight PhD students will be graduating; six from School of Education and two from Faculty Science.

He also requested graduands to respect the invitation card that allows only 2 people. i.e., the Graduand and 2 parents/Guardians/Caretakers.
