The Academic Registrar, Makerere University, Professor Buyinza Mukadasi has intimated on distribution of graduation gowns for the upcoming 74th convocation .
Through a letter dated 2nd January, 2024, Prof Mukadasi stated that gowns will be issued out commencing 8th to 25th January 2024. The distribution Centres shall be open daily from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Important to note is that the gowns will be distributed according to Colleges in the specified distribution centres as indicated below (images attached below).
The graduands are expected to carry the following requirements/evidence:
- (i). Name should appear on the 74th Graduation List approved by Senate.,
- (ii). Bank payment slip for the graduation gown; and,
- (iii). Student Identity Card.
The letter also includes distribution centers for affiliated institutions like MUBS and its regional campuses.
