Shamim Nambaasa, the former Guild President of Makerere University for the academic year 2021/2022, marked a significant milestone as she graduated during Makerere’s 74th Graduation Ceremony. Nambaasa, expressing her joy and gratitude, took to social media to share the news of her academic achievement.
In a tweet, she wrote, “Small girl with a big God. Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Makerere University bagged 🎓.” The accomplishment reflects her dedication to her academic pursuits and leadership responsibilities during her tenure as the Guild President.
Nambaasa also highlighted her educational journey, mentioning her time at Nabisunsa, where she was part of the biology class of 2017. In a proud reflection of her achievements and those of her classmates, she stated, “4 medical doctors, a pharmacist, and a cytotechnologist 🎓. We call it a journey, 11 years 🎉🎉🎉.”
