President Museveni to Grace Lira University Graduation Ceremony

Lira University will hold the 5th Graduation Ceremony on Friday 19th January, 2024 at Lira University Main Campus.

The latest information indicates that President Yoweri Museveni is expected to be the guest of honour, this, according to the Senior Communications Officer.

The Graduation ceremony organized to take place at Lira University Main Campus will see more than 400 graduands receive degrees and Post-Graduate Diplomas in different academic programmes.

Among the important guests to grace the occasion are; the 1^st Lady and Minister of Education, Mrs Janet Museveni, Minister of Health, Hon. Jane Ruth Aceng, Minister of Gender, Labour and Social services, Hon Betty Amongi, the Government Chief Whip, Hon Hampson Obua, Vice Chancellors from other universities, Members of Parliament from Lango sub-region, District Chairpersons from Lango sub-region, development partners and other leaders.

In the build up to this event, graduands have been asked to take note of vital guidelines like graduation fees.
