Busitema University was yesterday, June 12, recognized as the best university with innovations.
The award was attained, thanks to the institutions’ participation in the first ever National Agricultural Education Show.
“Congratulations to Busitema University having won the award as the best Univ with innovations (technologies) in the higher institution of learning category during the 1st National Agricultural Education Show 2022, A trophy and 5 medals have been awarded to the university and Exhibitors,” Busitema University announced.
The week-long event (June 8-12) was held at Jinja Show grounds under the theme of; “Transforming Food Systems with Agroecology. Unlocking the Business Opportunities for Youth.”
Yesterday (12th June) marked the final day and climax of the first National Agricultural Education Exhibition, an event that attracted approximately more than 200,000 visitors from all sectors of the economy.
The participants included students from both lower and higher levels of learning.
