At some point we all hate to be told what to do, so we decide to break rules. However there are some rules that should never be broken by any guy; these form part of the guy code. Call them the rules that make a man, not how long you can sustain an erection or how “big” you might think you are, these are guy ethics.
1. No urinal encroachment aka the buffer zone. You may enter a urinal and find another guy peeing, do not encroach on his space; even if you are tempted to compare. You never use the urinal next to a dude if there is one further away. And please, don’t loud dick shake.
2. Manage your porn. Keep your indulges to yourself and your property, don’t be downloading crap on another man’s pc.
3. Eat like a man. You do not ask for a knife to eat pizza or “molokony”. Wash your hands and dig in.
4. Never steal your friend’s girl, during or after their relationship. This is the ultimate no-no with guy code.
5. If a friend is cheating on his woman, take that shit to your grave. Guys don’t snitch, especially in this aspect.
6. Know your hugging limits. A bro-handshake first, then comes the hug. Plus a hug should not last more than 3 seconds, don’t make a greeting awkward with your weirdness.
7. Don’t diss your friend’s woman to his face, wait till they break up and laugh your lungs out.
8. Don’t brag about the number of girls you’ve slept with. This is weak, childish and pathetic.
9. Never take dick pics. This shouldn’t happen for your pleasure, and certainly not for your babe. The internet cloud is real.
10. Don’t take a sip from another man’s drink. This is gross, anyone with a nerve knows how wrong this is.
11. If your friend is in a fight, back him up, doesn’t matter if he’s in the wrong.
12. Pay your debts. A man pays his bills no matter how small, especially debts with friends.
I’m fed up with guys that can’t get basic mannerisms in check, this guide should clear up this misunderstanding.
