The year 2014 is dying, it seems like yesterday that fireworks littered the night sky ushering in the New year, how fast time flies. We revisit the moving moments this year, fun, pain and controversy .
Flops.
The year has been a flop season, our little Banana republic became a musical graveyard, event managers and promoters know how terrible this year has been, from flop king Chris Martin ,to Davido, Eddy Kenzo in Hoima to Muk’s talent show flop.
Uganda Cranes.
Andy Mwesigwa… University students supported in droves, passionately that even those from “that place” visited Namboole and the floodlights some how went out during the cranes match. Uganda cranes didn’t disappoint, it broke hearts again.
World Cup
The die hards, the clueless, especially the clueless girlfriends who failed to realize that men weren’t watching every match really, they were playing another kind of away matches elsewhere, poor clueless girlfriends.
The Mini skirt campaign.
University students took to social media to voice their opinions on their passion for mini skirts and dress tops, at the expense of the Ethics minister,The Karamojong Lokodo sure had a bad year.
Strikes.
The Muk rebels were at it again led by a certain Bwowe and rowdy Lumumbists, Africa hall girls somehow managed to raid cooked rice from the hall kitchen, filled their bags with the cooked rice.
Nkumba did the same and they got suspended.
The strike bug continued to Busitema, they got suspended too.
Kyambogo and MUBS demonstrated, over courses.
Courses.
Reality dawned upon Kyambogo University when a report disclosed that majority of the courses were not accredited, Kyambogo students including the girls, especially the girls went berserk, teargas got fired of course.
Mubs showed they weren’t going to wait for Bwowe, they wouldn’t sit and watch the government scrap of their courses especially International Business. They hit the streets of Nakawa.
Luswata madness.
The scoop on scoop gossip queen, tore celebs apart, each day University students sat to watch the babe rant away, great year for Luswata. She ruled our screen, made more enemies and fans, her victims included, Zari, Cindy, Heard… Oba she’s gay?
Political activism.
Two Muk students, sympathisers of the unemployed brotherhood and Amama Mbabazi, got hold of a rather unfortunate black Ganda hen and hit the constitutional square, to condemn strongly corruption and joblessness hehehe. Poor hen, reminiscent of the yelling piglets.
TV stars.
Be My Date grew bigger with Fabiola, Bettinah improved,Lynda ,joined Calvin, Gashumba, joined Ntv, and a law student runs Afro fresh on Urban. Great stuff for university kids.
Desire Luzinda
Desire Luzinda nudes took men to heaven, University students drooled over the well-endowed Muganda and wanked themselves lame.
Forget the other nudes, Desire Luzinda redeemed, redefined nudes, not even make it nasty comes close, even the man of God Lokodo believed.
The iPhone ‘sex’!
Apple released their baby, the iPhone six, it became a Pre-condition,
“honey, I’ll buy you an IPhone six “……….Baby “if you can’t afford an iPhone six, then goodluck “

Miss tourism, Miss Uganda .
Kyambogo and Muk dominated these pageants. Cavendish stole Miss University.
Miss Uganda…was bloody, Blessed with military farming concepts ,a certain mushroom farmer did Makerere proud, but of course some bleaching cream customers were not impressed.
Deaths.
We lost friends, we lost our warriors, we forever shall live with those gaps of fallen soldiers, young leaves and crashed dreams. Rest in peace.
